Safety System

To ensure safe surgery, we conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, including blood tests, electrocardiograms (ECG), and chest X-rays. These systematic examinations allow us to assess each patient’s overall health condition in advance.

Through in-depth consultation with the surgeon, we carefully evaluate each patient’s individual condition (body type, constitution, and medical history) to select the most appropriate and safest anesthetic agents and methods.

A board-certified anesthesiologist provides dedicated one-on-one anesthesia care. The patient’s vital signs—including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation—are continuously monitored and recorded in real time. This allows for immediate analysis and helps prevent potential emergencies during surgery.

During general anesthesia, a sudden and abnormal rise in body temperature may occur, along with muscle rigidity; this condition is known as malignant hyperthermia and can be life-threatening. Although extremely rare, we are fully prepared for any emergency by keeping Dantrolene readily available.

Patients are closely monitored in a dedicated recovery room until their condition is fully stabilized. A board-certified anesthesiologist remains on duty to continuously assess the patient’s recovery, even into the late hours.

All patients are continuously monitored by a board-certified anesthesiologist throughout surgery. To ensure immediate response, we are equipped with advanced systems, including a central monitoring system, GE Omeda anesthesia machine, ETCO₂ monitoring, video laryngoscope, and oxygen supply system.
