Revision Eye Surgery
We accurately analyze the causes of the previous surgery failure
and, through in-depth consultation, design a personalized surgical method
to help achieve a more natural eye appearance.
Difference in
extensive clinical experience
Revision eye surgery requires a more advanced level of technique compared to
primary surgery, as each case must be approached with a tailored method.
To avoid a second failure, it is crucial to choose a skilled and experienced
specialist with extensive clinical experience.

CHECK POINT
In some cases, early correction may be necessary depending on the individual situation; therefore, the decision is made through an in-person consultation.
Types of
eyelid revision surgery
As the causes of dissatisfaction vary from person to person, an accurate
diagnosis and surgical plan are essential for achieving high satisfaction results.
When the double eyelid line is too high
This is one of the most common reasons for revision surgery.
The existing incision line is included, adhesions are released,
and the line is lowered to achieve correction.
When the eyes are asymmetrical
If the eyelid lines were designed differently during surgery,
or if differences in muscle strength cause asymmetry, a new design
is created and excess skin is removed to achieve symmetry.
When the double eyelid line has loosened
This condition occurs when the eyelid line becomes loose after surgery.
The line is securely refixed to create a more stable
and defined result.
When there is severe eyelid scarring
This usually occurs after incisional methods.
Scar tissue is removed along with surrounding tissue,
and the eyelid is carefully re-sutured for a more refined result.
When the eyelid line is a “sausage-like” appearance
If, even after 6 months to 1 year, the eyelid line remains
excessively thick and swollen in appearance, the underlying cause
is evaluated and appropriate revision surgery is performed.
When the eyelid lines are asymmetrical
If one eyelid is satisfactory after surgery but the other
is not, correction can be performed on one side only
to achieve symmetry between both eyelids.
